The KDCCB s providing Swiping machines at a 50 per cent subsidy to its customers for taking up cashless transactions

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) which is ahead of other cooperative banks in the use of information technology has decided to distribute more than 500 Point of Sale (PoS) or Swiping machines to its major customers in the integrated Karimnagar district.

Already, the DCCB had distributed 58 swiping machines to the Karimnagar Dairy. Now, it has embarked upon the distribution of PoS machines on a larger scale to all its big customers for taking up cashless transactions.

Accordingly, a Swiping machine was distributed to Manikanta steel and furniture trader in Gambhiraopet mandal in Rajanna-Sircilla district on September 17, 2022.  Mr Konduru Ravinder Rao, chairman of the DCCB chairman, TSCAB and NAFSCOB, distributed the machine to the customer in the presence of CEO N Satyanarayana Rao and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ravinder Rao said that they were distributing the swiping machines at a 50 per cent subsidy to the customers. “We have developed an app for cashless transactions and the KDCCB will always be the front foot in adopting the new technology”, he said and added that they would soon introduce the UPI BHIM app for e-payments directly through banks.

DCCB Gambhiraopet manager M Srinivas Reddy, Sircilla manager R Damodar, Karimnagar main branch manager K Sunil and others were also present.
